I’m currently reading The Vegetarian  by Han Kang. This was a Blogging For Books request that I pushed to the end of my TBR for so long I am embarrassed to even mention it but I’m reading it and reviewing it now so that’s really all that matters, right? I’m so excited about this post! I recently put a reading nook in a little corner of my bedroom and it. is. awesome. If you follow me on Instagram you guys have seen snippets of it in the background of my photos but the full reveal will come in a couple weeks! I can’t wait to share it with you all!

Anything is Possible by Elizabeth Strout

The highly anticipated follow up to My Name Is Lucy Barton, which I read for personal edification prior to reading Anything is Possible, expands on the stories that Lucy’s mother shares at her bedside and proves that people are not always who they seem.

Monday June 5th

House of Names by Colm Tóibín

A fictional expansion of the Greek myths of Clytemnestra, Electra, Orestes and Agamemnon. Full to bursting with deceit, betrayal and murder.

I’ve fallen in love with listening to audiobooks. It’s a great way to get some personal reading done to balance out my review reading- which, in all honesty, is still amazingly fun! Here’s a few of my favorite audiobooks I’ve listened to recently.

I also read All Our Wrong Todays by Elan Mastai just for fun, no review intended but I was so intrigued by the book that I reached out to Mastai for an interview, which he granted me via Twitter. It turned out pretty great and he was so awesome to connect with despite my amateur mistakes! Check out the full interview and my real-time behind the scene commentary here. If you haven’t read this book I hope you do, it is worth it!
