Something I love is discovering a new bookish subscription box so when I stumbled upon Hideaway Crate I was ecstatic. The target audience for their box is “introverted women and homebodies” so I was hooked from that phrase alone. For $29.95/month you can enjoy a solo activity every month including recipes for one, cozy home items and books. They also offer a quarterly book box which includes one book and a variety of goodies. That is the box I will be reviewing today and below you will find everything contained in the August Hideaway Crate. Enjoy!
The Garden of Small Beginnings by Abbi Waxman
This beautiful paperback from Berkley Publishing tells to story of Lilian Girvan who is a struggling widow who finds solace in the damp earth of gardening and through that experience embarks on a journey of growth.
Marlo’s Bake Shop Soft-Baked Biscotti
A package of individually wrapped large biscotti brimming with dark chocolate chips, walnuts and chocolate covered raisins.
Single-Serve Maxwell House coffee packets
In the classic summer flavor iced French vanilla latte, these packets are perfect for a quick pick me up for the solo adventurer.
Bookmark
This elegantly carved bookmark featuring a leaf pattern is the perfect paring to the book of choice for this box.
Sterling silver ring
This adjustable latticework ring adds the perfect dash of whimsy.
