Subscription Box Review: Apostrophe Book Box

I had the privilege of receiving the March shipment of the Apostrophe Book Box which has proved to be a wonderful addition to the world of bookish subscription boxes.

Staying true to the roots of book subscription boxes, Apostrophe Box includes a few extra goodies in addition to a hard cover book. What makes them a bit more unique is the rotation of genres between each month—so while most boxes have set genres you can subscribe to, they offer the wonderful opportunity for subscribers to read across all genres which I believe is fantastic as it allows for discovery of new books! Also, they offer two subscription levels: Deluxe which includes items similar to the ones I will review here, or Lite which includes simply a book and a bag of gourmet coffee.

Read on for a bit more about the March box and how you can subscribe to get your very own Apostrophe box on your doorstep.

The Deluxe subscription includes the following:

One hardcover book

One bag of artisanal coffee

A delicious snackable item

A gift (candle, bookmark, coffee mug, etc)

Apostrophe Box inclusions such as a book mark or coaster

Here is what a received in my March box. which had the theme of Historical Fiction
Hardcover Book

How to Stop Time by Matt Haig I loved this book when I first read it and was so excited to see it included in this subscription box because I knew just how fortunate everyone was to receive a copy. Follow the link to read my review!
Coffee

A one pound bag of “Smalltown” coffee from Brandywine Coffee Roasters in Wilmington, DE. This small batch roasted coffee has tasting notes of milk chocolate and clementine with a sweet floral finish. Described by the roasters as “meant to represent out love for a slightly slower way of life” this coffee is the perfect pairing for a box full of things urging you to slow down! Not to mention the packaging matched the book cover oh so well.
Yummy snack

The Dolcetto Cookies and Cream Wafer Bites that came in this box were seriously so delicious. The perfect combination of crunchy outside with creamy, sweet filling. I’m not ashamed to say I went online while still eating my portion to search for where I could order more!
Featured Item

I was lucky enough to score TWO featured items in this box: an exclusive “Time” candle from Blue Spider Books that smells absolutely amazing, and book cover matches from the Etsy shop HereForevermore that, of course, match the cover of the featured book.

I had fun treating myself to the items in the box and I was throughly pleased with the quality and content of Apostrophe Book Box’s March box. Head to their website now to learn more or to subscribe for your very own monthly delivery!
